Nolina (lat.Nolina) or Bocarnea (Beaucarnea) - comes from the Asparagus family, subfamily Nolinovye. This amazing tropical perennial came to us from distant Mexico. In nature, it grows up to 7-8 m, at home, the height, as a rule, does not exceed 2 m. The leaves are oblong, lanceolate, collected at the top and luxuriously hanging in different directions, resembling a womans hairstyle. The unusual trunk looks like a bottle, thats why people often call it bottle tree. Over time, moisture accumulates at the base of the trunk, thanks to which Nolina can withstand a long period of drought.
