A very tender, fresh, and not at all cloying cake! Some who tried it thought the layers weren't quite thick enough, but I thought it was a good idea, as the layers were perfectly coated in the cream. In any case, everyone was very pleased, especially the birthday girl. Thank you for your hard work!
