I was so tired I almost missed a loved one's birthday, forgetting about the time difference and the limited options in the city at almost 10 PM. I ordered a simple balloon with a simple "Happy Birthday," but the birthday girl received a complimentary balloon and a fresh rose from the store. We laughed for about 20 minutes while she described how thrilled she was with the surprise.
